Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, spending plenty of time in Brooklyn and Manhattan, artist Scott Brown fell in love with NYC graffiti culture. His vision was to make a lifestyle brand that incorporated the likes of fashion, art music, and entertainment (FAME), inspired by the streets of New York.

Going by the tag name "Blokz" as a kid, Scott quickly developed the love of manipulating letters into different graffiti writings such as bubble throw-ups and sleek handstyles. 

Wanting to step away from the troubles that come from graffiti, he went to school for Fashion Merchandising in Midtown Manhattan, to put his unique graffiti skills on lines of t-shirts. 

That was where FAME was born and just the introduction to what the brand is becoming today.

Fame Killed Art is a NYC-based street art and lifestyle brand built around original graffiti artwork by Scott Brown.

Inspired by the walls, trains, boroughs, and subway lines that shaped New York’s graffiti culture, the debut collection transforms those influences into everyday pieces. Each design pulls from a

different part of the city — from borough tags to subway line markers to neon graffiti handstyles.

The debut drop features pieces carrying artwork rooted in the visual language of New York.

Because before galleries and social media, the streets were the canvas.
